Voice actress Katsue Miwa died on June 19 of a pulmonary embolism. She was 80.
Her household held a personal funeral.
Miwa offered the voice for protagonist Mitsuo/Perman No. 1 within the 1967 tv anime adaptation of Fujiko Fujio‘S Everlasting manga, and continued to voice the character in later anime variations. She voiced protagonist Marvel-kun in Mushi manufacturing‘S Area Journey – Marvel-kun’s First Dream anime particular. She voiced the titular Unico in Madhouse1981 anime movie The incredible adventures of Unicoin addition to within the later Unico on the Island of Magic movie. She later voiced Hirame Hirayama in Isao Takahata‘S Chie the Brat tv anime.
Her different notable roles embody Shōta Ōhara in Obake no Q-TaroFukusuke within the quick movie “Unusual Tales of Meiji Machine Tradition: Westerner’s Invasion” from the Robotic carnival anthology, and Jizō Honekami in Kurayami Santa ClausHer final anime position was Jinbat from Toei animationanime movie celebrating the sixtieth anniversary of ‘s Popin Q.
