Crunchyroll revealed a teaser trailer for Solo Leveling Season 2 -Come up from the Shadow- on Friday at Anime Expo, the second season of the anime adaptation of author Chugong and the late artist DUBU’s (REDICE Studio) Solo Leveling manhwa. The trailer options Hiroyuki Sawano’s “4eVR” soundtrack track. The anime premiered in Japan on January 6, with Crunchyroll including the English dub on January 20.

Crunchyroll describes the storyline as follows:

It has been over a decade because the “gates” out of the blue appeared, the paths that join our world to a different dimension. Since then, sure folks have woke up to supernatural powers. We name these people “hunters.” Hunters earn their residing by utilizing their powers to beat dungeons throughout the gates. On this world of powerful prospects, low-ranking hunter Jinwoo Sung is called “the weakest hunter in all of humanity.”

Sooner or later, Jinwoo is mortally wounded when he stumbles upon high-rank double dungeons hidden inside a low-rank dungeon. At that second, a mysterious quest window seems earlier than him. Getting ready to dying, Jinwoo decides to simply accept the search and begins leveling up… whereas the others do not.

Solo Leveling Anime Debuts with A-1 Footage, BTS’s TOMORROW X TOGETHER Performs Opening Theme

Shunsuke Nakashige (Mom of the Goddess’ Dormitory) directed the anime sequence at A-1 Footage, with Noboru Kimura (Gundam Construct Divers, Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!) serving as most important author. Tomoko Sudo (Alice in Borderland, Fragtime) supplied character design, and Hiroyuki Sawano (recognized for works comparable to Assault on Titan, Blue Exorcist, Kill la Kill, Cell Go well with Gundam UC) composed the music.

The opening track “LEveL” is carried out by BTS idol group TOMORROW X TOGETHER in collaboration with composer Hiroyuki Sawano (SawanoHiroyuki(nZk)).

Chugong’s Solo Leveling novel sequence, illustrated by DUBU, debuted on Webtoon companies in March 2018 and concluded in December 2021. Yen Press is publishing each the manhwa and the unique novel sequence in English, whereas Kadokawa is publishing the manhwa in Japanese beneath the title Ore Dake Stage-Up na Ken (I am the Solely One Who Leveled Up).
