The definitive version of the manga was first printed in Japan in 2019


North American writer Star Fruit Books introduced Saturday that it has licensed the Definitive Version of Sachiko Asuka’s The Ghost Thief Bat Baron (Kaito Komori Dance Shaku) manga. The corporate will launch the one-volume manga within the fall of 2025.

Star Fruit Books describes the manga:

A suspenseful comedy collection set after World Conflict I that revolves round Baron Bat, a thief who steals to assist the weak.

The one-volume manga may even embody Asuka’s three one-shot tales, titled “The Unusual Story of Elsinore Fortress”, “Lord Monsieur’s Nice Plan”, and “The Lovely Vampire”.

Japanese writer Rittorsha printed the definitive version of the manga in Japan in September 2019.

The manga was first printed in Kodansha‘S Shojo Pal journal in 1967. The second a part of the manga entitled Dr. Asimov’s Ebook of Books (The Good Adventures of Dr. Asimov) printed in Shueisha‘S Shukan Seventeen journal in 1969, and the third half entitled Kaito Shinshi Asimov KyĹŤju no Kareina BĹŤken (The Mister Thief: The Good Adventures of Professor Asimov) printed in Shogakukan‘S Shukan ShĹŤjo comics (now Sho-Comi) journal in 1973.
