Anime background artist, artwork director and the GAKIproAstudio director of the artwork studio Yukihiro Shibutani died on September 15 in a Tokyo hospital as a result of a worsening power sickness. He was 63. His shut kin held a non-public funeral.
GAKIproAstudio‘s mother or father firm YAP Ishigaki Manufacturing notes that there are plans for a public memorial service for Shibutani, though no additional particulars have but been decided.

Shibutani labored as artwork director for the backgrounds of the Natsume’s Buddies E-book from the primary season in 2008 to the present seventh season, which premiered earlier this month.
