First story in “Clockwork Lady” collection to premiere in early summer season 2025
Aniplex unveiled an unique animated collection from director Yasuomi Umetsu and animation studio SHAFT titled Virgin Punkthrough the Aniplex On-line Fest stream on Monday. Aniplex revealed the teaser and promotional video for the primary story within the collection titled “Clockwork Lady,” which can premiere in two cinemas in Tokyo and Osaka early summer season subsequent 12 months.

The story describes the struggling of the feminine protagonist Ubu and the longing and chaos created by the sturdy characters round her.

Yasuomi Umetsu and studio SHAFT are listed as unique creators. Umetsu (Kite, Mezzo-soprano, Women excessive, Kiss and cry movie) directs the anime on SHAFTand likewise designs the characters. Yuya Takahashi (Kubo will not let me be invisible, Lupin III: Half IV) is liable for the composition of the collection and the script. Gen’ichirou Abe (Kizumonogatari Half 1: Tekketsu movie), Shiny Takahashi (Battle Angel key animation), and Maho Kando (Josee, the tiger and the fish 2nd key animation) are the principle animators.
