The creators of the live-action adaptation of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari’s manga Oshi no Ko introduced Tuesday that Ryō Narita will play the position of Ai’s gynecologist Gorō Amemiya, and a promotional video for the character was additionally revealed.
The live-action collection Oshi no Ko will debut worldwide on Amazon Prime on November 28 with eight episodes, adopted by the sequel premiering in theaters on December 20.

Filmmaker Smith and director Hana Matsumoto workforce up on upcoming mission; Oshi no Ko anime breaks streaming data
The filmmaker identified by the mononym Smith (Inside Mari, I Wish to Maintain Aono-kun So Badly I Might Die, music movies for Ikimono-gakari, Ketsumeishi, Snow Man) is directing the movie.
Director and former actress Hana Matsumoto (Kimi to Nara Koi o Shitemite mo) helms the TV collection with Smith. Ayako Kitagawa (Tokyo Love Story, Laid-Again Camp) writes the scripts and The Plan to Seize the Fox (Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Woman Senpai, Lupin III vs. Cat’s Eye) composes the music. The anime adaptation of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari’s Oshi no Ko manga premiered in Japan in April 2023 with a 90-minute first episode. HIDIVE streamed the anime when it aired in Japan, and can be streaming an English dub.
