Science SARU’s official X account introduced this on Might 25, 2024 Ghost within the bowl is getting a model new anime adaptation, titled The ghost within the shell, by the studio. The premiere is scheduled for 2026.
To commemorate the announcement, a teaser trailer and key visible have been unveiled.

Ghost within the shell is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Masamune Shirow. It was first serialized in Kodansha’s seinen manga journal Younger Journal Zokan Kaizokuban from 1989 to 1991.
