Bloomsbury Publishing launched AF Harrol‘is authentic The imaginary 2001 novel with illustrations by Emily Gravett. The writer describes the novel:
Rudger is Amanda Shuffleup’s imaginary pal. Nobody else can see Rudger, till the evil Mr. Bunting arrives at Amanda’s door. Mr. Bunting chases concepts. Rumor has it he even eats them. And now he is discovered Rudger.

Yoshiyuki Momose (“Life Ain’t Gonna Lose” quick in Ponoc’s Humble Heroes anime anthology, No Kuni movie, Ponoc’s Olympic Video games quick “The leaves of tomorrow“) directed the movie. Yoshiaki Nishimura — a producer on quite a few Studio Ghibli films, in addition to Ponoc films Mary and the witch flower And Humble Heroes — produced the movie.
