The official web site for the tv anime adaptation of Maedakun‘S Puniru with Kawaii Slime (Puniru is a Cute Slime) internet manga sequence revealed the anime’s first promotional video, a teaser, primary solid, extra employees and an October premiere date on Thursday.

The newly introduced employees consists of:

Yushi Ibe (Tearmoon Empire) directs the sequence at TOHO animation STUDIO. Michiko Yokote (Shirobako, Jail college, Cowboy Bebop, Rurouni Kenshin) oversees the sequence’ scripts, and There’s Tanaka (Mushoku Tensei: Unemployed Reincarnation II (Sub Character Designer, Lead Animation Director) designs the characters.

The romantic comedy manga tells the story of Kotarō, who created a slime and named it Puniru. Seven years move and Puniru transforms into a fantastic younger woman.

Maedakun launched the manga in Shogakukan‘S “Shūkan Coro Coro Comics“(“Weekly Coro Coro comics“) on-line publication in March 2022. The manga was ranked #4 within the Internet Manga class of the “Subsequent Manga Awards” (Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Taishō) in 2022. Shogakukan revealed the fifth quantity of the manga on January 26.
