Following the conclusion of Solo leveling Season 1 on March 31, 2024, the anime has been formally confirmed for a second season titled Solo Leveling Season 2: Rise from the Shadows.
To commemorate the announcement, a teaser trailer for the second season was revealed.
Whereas a launch date for the brand new season has but to be introduced, Crunchyroll has confirmed it Solo leveling season 2 will stream on the platform when it airs.
Solo leveling anime aired on January 7, 2024.
Shunsuke Nakashige directed the anime, with Noboru Kimura as scriptwriter. Tomoko Sudo was accountable for the character design and Hiroyuki Sawano composed the music.
The opening theme track, titled “Degree,” was carried out by SawanoHiroyuki (nZk) and Tomorrow X Collectively, whereas the closing theme track, titled “Request,” was carried out by Krage.
Solo leveling is a South Korean net novel written by Chugong. It was serialized on Kakao’s digital comics and fiction platform KakaoPage from July 25, 2016, and was later absolutely printed by D&C Media below their Papyrus label on November 4, 2016.
A webtoon adaptation of Solo leveling was first serialized in KakaoPage on March 4, 2018; it was illustrated by Jang Sung-Rak (aka Dubu), the CEO of Redice Studio. The primary season of the webtoon ended on March 19, 2020, and the second season began on August 1, 2020 and resulted in December 2021 with the 179th chapter.
