Warner Bros. Japan introduced on April 2, 2024 that Tsubasa Yamaguchi’s Blue interval manga is getting a live-action movie adaptation, with Gordon Maeda taking the lead position. The movie is scheduled for launch on August 9, 2024.
A teaser trailer and visible have been unveiled to commemorate the announcement.

Blue interval The live-action movie will likely be directed by Kentaro Hagiwara, who is understood for his work on the movie Tokyo Ghoul film. Reiko Yoshida, who wrote the screenplay for the movie Blue interval anime, will present the screenplay for the movie.

Blue interval is a Japanese manga sequence written and illustrated by Tsubasa Yamaguchi. The sequence has been serialized in Kodansha’s seinen manga journal Month-to-month Afternoon since June 2017 and has been collected into fifteen tankōbon volumes as of November 2023.
As of November 2021, the manga had greater than 4.5 million copies in circulation. In 2020, Blue interval was awarded the forty fourth Kodansha Manga Award within the Common class and the Grand Prize of the thirteenth Manga Taisho Prize.
An anime tv sequence adaptation produced by Seven Arcs aired from October to December 2021.
